UK Ikon Science Training Centre
Based at our headquarters in Surbiton, SW London, our Training Centre offers computer facilities for classes of up to 8 attendees, and theory based courses (without computers) for up to 16. It is also available for hire by individual companies for private presentations of the Ikon Science software or geoscience courses.

All courses run from 9am-5pm, possibly finishing earlier on the final day, and all training material is supplied. The training centre opens at 8:45 am, and breakfast is served. Lunch is provided and refreshments are available throughout the day.

Intended for intermediate RokDoc users who require an introduction to Rock Physics Model Templates and RokDoc 3D. Attendees are taken through a series of workflows illustrating the predictive power of rock physics models, before progressing to RokDoc-3D, where the user can model lithologies and fluids, manipulate seismic inversion volumes, create elastic and geological property volumes, and export them to SEG-Y.

Follow detailed workflows to become an expert in our most innovative inversion technology, starting from the generation of facies logs, through to running the inversion and QC of the results. As well as learning how to apply the software, all relevant underlying principles are discussed and results reviewed.
