RokDoc Reservoir Monitoring – Sim-to-seis and 4D modelling

This e-course is for QI specialists, and covers the functionality accessed from the Reservoir Monitoring add-on of the RokDoc Reservoir Characterization base module.

It is recommended that students have completed the RokDoc Rock Physics e-course, and preferably the Reservoir Characterization e-course before undertaking this e-course.

This e-course aims to impart to the user a thorough understanding of how to use the Reservoir Monitoring functionality within RokDoc. The RokDoc Reservoir Monitoring add-on provides the tools, functionality and workflows needed for the integration of geological, geophysical and reservoir engineering data to perform 3D and 4D analyses. Some level of prior experience and understanding of the RokDoc Rock Physics module is assumed.

The e-course concentrates on the sim-to-seis forward modelling aspect of the workflow, but 4D inversion and seis-to-sim techniques are discussed.

To complete this e-course, students will require access to the following RokDoc software: Platform, Rock Physics and Reservoir Characterization Modules, and Reservoir Monitoring Add-On.
