In this presentation, we will explain the theory and application behind some Rock Physics Models, namely Vernik-Kachanov, Contact Models and Xu-Payne. We will further discuss the calibration of Rock Physics Models in RokDoc and how they can be used for log conditioning and ‘what if’ scenarios.
