Earlier in April, Ikon Science won the 2017 Harts E&P Special Meritorious Awards for Engineering Innovation with RokDoc Ji-Fi and now, we can announce that Ikon Sciences investment in RokDoc Ji-Fi, has also been shortlisted for a prestigious National Technology Award.

RokDoc Ji-Fi is a software system that uses global and regional analytics data to generate high fidelity geological models and subsurface knowledge, enabling safer and more efficient workflows in oil and gas exploration through to production.  It was developed in partnership with Tullow Oil plc. and research organisation CSIRO.

The UK National Technology Awards are the most comprehensive celebration of technology in the year. The awards recognise the pioneers of new technology and help drive standards and encourage excellence. They are judged by a panel of technology experts from companies including Deloitte, TechUK and Mountford Capital. 

Other companies shortlisted for the 2017 awards include the Financial Times, HBXL and MasterCard.

The winners will be announced at the National Technology Awards Gala and Dinner on 17th May 2017 at the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair.
