This hands-on course will cut through the complexity of the theory and equip you with the skills and tools necessary to apply the essentials and principles of rock physics.

The Essentials of Rock Physics for Seismic Amplitude Interpretation course, written by Rock Physics Associates, uses RokDoc^® software, to provide a unique practical approach to rock physics for everyday usage.

The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on practical exercises. It is intended for geoscientists of all persuasions (including Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists and Engineers) to provide a grounding in the basis of physical interpretation of seismic amplitudes. The theory is kept to a minimum.
